About Me, Diana
I’ve worked in the Romance business since 2010 when I became the Weddings & Romance Coordinator at the world-class Banyan Tree Mayakoba Riviera Maya, Mexico. I’ve never fallen in love with a job more in my life. This is when I realized this is what I was put here on Earth to do! I love, more than anything, helping clients create spectacular events and eliminating all the stress that can often come with it. It’s my passion to execute dream events flawlessly and effortlessly so it remains a one-in-a-million memory in the hearts and minds of my dear romance clients forever.
I’ve planned and coordinated more than 50 weddings and events throughout my career, with anywhere from 2 to 320 invitees…because romantic occasions come in all shapes and sizes. Over the course of this time, I’ve gained exceptional knowledge in event coordination, food, beverage, and staff management and have developed a keen sense of anticipating client needs even before they do. My aim is to always reach to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
I’m constantly striving to learn more about this industry and deliver the best of the best. I thoroughly enjoy furthering my knowledge and regularly attend event and wedding planning seminars, conferences and courses. I’m a certified wedding professional via the Academy of Special Events Professionals (ASEP) and a certified South Asian Wedding Specialist. I’ve also received a postgraduate degree in Business from Dublin in 2015.
On a personal note, I not only enjoy traveling but I find I’m a bit obsessed with it! I just really enjoy learning about other cultures and meeting new people. I often travel solo and my favorite thing to do is blend in with the locals. I love my morning coffees, wine, and the occasional Gin drink, have a love/hate relationship with working out (but I do it!) and really enjoy spending time with and having fun with my family and friends.
