Bryant and I have always loved to travel and pursue new adventures together. We were engaged at Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen so we decided that it would be the perfect place to come back to for our wedding. We are very grateful that our family and friends were willing to make the trip and help make our day that more special.
My biggest fear with having a destination wedding was not being able to properly plan from afar (I am a complete control freak!). I was referred to Diana Romo and after our very first conversation, I had complete confidence in her ability to create the wedding of my dreams and I never looked back.
Diana worked with me for several months leading up to our big day to ensure we were fully capturing my vision, which was less traditional and more vintage inspired. We shared my Pinterest boards, exchanged numerous emails, had several phone calls and I even took a weeklong trip to Mayakoba beforehand to make sure we had all the details ironed out. Diana never missed a beat.
The wedding was perfect; from the Welcome Party to the Farewell/Thank You Brunch following the weekend festivities. Diana made sure the flowers, the décor, the music, the food, the drinks and the vibe was exactly what I had hoped for.
We decided to continue the tradition and visit Playa del Carmen again for our 1st Anniversary. While there we reconnected with Diana and had dinner together. It was so nice to catch up. She has become such a special part of our love story and we will forever consider her a friend and part of our family.
